Cool Pavement is a name derived from the combination of “Cool,” meaning cooling, and “Pavement,” meaning road surfacing.
It is a heat-reduction paint system that significantly reduces the high heat absorption of conventional asphalt pavements through a high solar reflectance of 86–89%, lowering surface temperatures by up to 20°C or more.
In addition, enhanced anti-slip performance provides a safer road environment for both pedestrians and vehicles.
